Our practice

The originality of our method comes from the fact that no instruments exist between practitioner and patient. (unlike the needles of the acupuncturist, medicines doctors , etc,  ...)
Our overall therapeutic approach is based on science fully fledged as anatomy, biomechanics, neurology, physiology and pathology.
Today, 6 years of studies are required for the osteopath diploma.

We are using our hands as a tool for a real investigation. Like a watchmaker which checks, works with cog wheels, we use the full potential of our power to restore harmony and proper functioning.

Going beyond symptom, we are interested in the history of the body and  its oldest injuries, which are sometimes gone unnoticed.

But its true originality, osteopathy is in prevention.
It plays a vital role in preventing many diseases. It comes at all stages:
. Prevention before any disease.
. Prevention after a pathology in order to avoid relapses and recurrences.
. Prevention to reduce disability, impotence and delay aging and dependency.

In France, the legal limbo surrounding the profession of osteopathy was filled by the law "rights of the patients" of 5 March 2002 in his article that legalizes the title osteopathy and fix the conditions. Three decrees, dated March 23, 2007, have provided a legal framework for the training of osteopaths and their practice.

Difference between the Osteopathy and Physiotherapy

The Physiotherapy is a method focusing preference to the rehabilitation and treatment of symptoms.

The Osteopathy aims to find the cause of diseases, which can sometimes be at a distance (ankle problem giving back pain) or sometimes an old traumatic origin (car accident, fall Skiing fractured tailbone in the 'chlidhood), and deal with them.

All the health professions must have a close relationship. Your Physiotherapist may, for example, refer you to an Osteopath, which in turn leads to a podiatrist, an acupuncturist, an orthodontist, and so on.
